It's the world’s least secret society and Movember is our time to unite.
Take part this Movember and take on prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s mental health and suicide.
With more ways than ever to raise funds, join the millions of others who are helping save men’s lives, and having fun doing it.
In 2017 I became a Moe Bro, at the time I did not have a moustache or goatee to shave off, so on November 1st, 2017, I started from scratch to grow a moustache. So, what was my motivation to join and participate in Movember? After being diagnosed in 2015 with major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety, I, like so many, needed help in learning how to live my life with a mental illness. I reached out and received the help I needed and in 2017 I felt a sense of purpose to give back to the support teams and people that I relied upon during my recovery. One of the first organizations and fund-raising campaigns that I joined was Movember and I haven’t looked back since. As my individual page says this is my motivation “Please join Robin and I as we raise funds for men's mental health, suicide prevention and mental illness recovery. 'Let’s not let men suffer in silence, it's time to end the stigma' Your donations today will have an immediate impact on the life's of many, including your own.” Andy Sytsema
It can be difficult to reach out for help, check up on your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers, they may be struggling to reach out. Take time to listen with empathy and compassion, acknowledge, and hear what it is they are saying, offer your support and help them seek help, you can make a difference in your loved ones life today, 'It's time to "MAKE A DIFFERENCE" Support me in my efforts to make a difference by donating today. @ Movember Andy Sytsema

“Depression is so sinister because it convinces you that even though you won, you actually lost. I was able to get help, and I have a duty & a privilege to have this conversation with anyone who'll listen." "Senator John Fetterman, October 18th, 2023
I am proud to of joined team McElhanney in 2021 and dedicate my time and energy to raising funds for Movember, all while connecting with all the Moe’s in achieving our common goals in support of mental health, suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
